Negative space
Tuesday, June 24, 2008  Drawing of negative spaces of an objects. Seeing things in an negative kind of view was interesting too! =) My above drawing is a stick that a devil who always hold it and a bag.  For the above picture it is a bracelet and a design space of a project.Its really not easy shading the shape out.  For the following above. Its a Macdonalds sign and a whale!  Lastly is my specs and the logo of my wallet a dog. xD It really difficult! If more complicated objects are given I really don't know how to shade.Maybe shading one of it will takes hours? hahas I don't know. That's all for my negative space drawing lessons =D 1st day...UPSIDE DOWN DRAWING 0.0
 This is what we did in the morning for our drawing class. Drawing of bedroom UPSIDE DOWN! hahas =) We were only showed half of the bedroom upside down and we need to draw it o.o It's so difficult! After drawing half of it another half of the top was to be drawn. It looked so wierd after combining the top and the bottom. =/ hahas  Next followed by this president. Who do you think he is? He is actually George Bush! Doesn't look like right? hahas His picture was only shown a quarter of it and also unside down-.- A quarter of his top face and then after 15 mintues another quarter of the bottom upside down. I was like what the H-LL =x opps no la joking only xD It's like totally don't know how to imagine the other two parts. Anyway I just joined them together and that face came out! hahas Qutie cute lor the outcome =) All of my friends drawings show different kind of people None of us looked alike, that's why I'm wondering are we really drawing the same person? Though I do get rather impatient doing the UPSIDE DOWN drawings but it was quite fun after we seen what we have drawn. We learned to look things in another way. COOL EXERCISE xD I'm back!! xD
Monday, June 23, 2008 HEY GUYS! I'M BACK FROM MY 3 WEEKS HOLIDAYS! We are starting our school tomorrow... Wondering what are we goin to do in term two.... Will it be fun? OR.. still stress as term 1? Looking forward for it but.... quite lazy too =X hahahas So.. WORK HARD IN TERM 2!!! xD BOX BOX BOX =3

Sunday, June 1, 2008  My final project: From the emotions and the 40 ping pong balls exercise, we were to produce 4 little russian dolls. It can be in any form of shapes. It's also called ''Mini Me". For my biggest mini me its the happy emotion. I used turtle/tortoise to represent my first emotion. I chosed turtle/tortoise because the sight of it makes me happy =)  The second mini me emotion was sad. When I'm sad I cry and I don't like people seeing me crying hence I made a little mini mi wearing a hat to cover it's eyes but the tears still rolled out.  Third and my final mini me I made a cube which shows boredem with little tiny squares it forms a cube which makes it looked more special and a star coloured red and orange which shows anger.  This was my "peek-a-book" for my mini me. It's a story linking all my mini together. It was a fun school term which I felt stress but also had fun getting to know new friends and exprience new stuffs.It had finally came to an end. =) |
